I am an MSc student in the Mammal Research Institute with interests in the biological and ecological aspects of marine fauna and their environment. I did my internship at the University of Cape Town, Zoology Department working on the tracking and monitoring of breeding African Penguins and Cape gannets off the coasts of South Africa.

My honours project was to compare the overall foraging ecology African penguins from two remote islands, off Algoa Bay.

My current interests include the use of molecular and bio-logging data to investigate the diving and fine-scale foraging ecology of Antarctic and Sub-antarctic fur seals at Marion Island, off the Southern Indian Ocean.
